Effective date: July 17, 2026
Last updated: July 17, 2026

Short version: We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data. Camera and photo access are used only on your device to detect cube sticker colors. There are no ads, analytics SDKs, or accounts in version 1.0.

1. Who we are

This policy applies to the iOS app CubeSolve Scan 3D, published by Pixelgrove. Contact: support@pixelgrove.ch

2. Information we collect

We do not collect personal information in version 1.0.

3. Camera and Photos

If you choose Scan My Cube, the app may use your device camera or photo library to sample sticker colors on each face of a 3×3 cube.

4. On-device processing

Color detection and the solve path run locally on your iPhone or iPad. Solution steps stay on device for that session.

5. Third parties

Version 1.0 does not embed third-party advertising, analytics, or social SDKs. The app is distributed through the Apple App Store; Apple’s privacy practices apply to App Store distribution and your Apple ID. This website is served by a web host that may record standard technical logs (e.g. IP address, browser type) as part of hosting operations.

6. Children

The app is suitable for general audiences (expected age rating 4+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Data retention

Because we do not operate a server that stores your cube photos or personal data, there is no server-side retention of app content. Uninstalling the app removes local app data subject to iOS behavior.

8. Changes

If we add features that collect data (for example optional analytics or cloud backup), we will update this policy and the App Store privacy nutrition labels before those features ship.
